DESCRIPTION
Some flavors don’t just remind you of something — they take you somewhere.
BACK 2 SCHOOL takes us straight back to being kids, when school bags were heavier than they needed to be, break time couldn’t come fast enough, and pulling a cold Capri-Sun out of the bag felt like the best part of the day. That first hit of ridiculously fruity, sweet juice — somehow tasting like a bunch of fruits all at once — is the memory behind this release.
To bring that feeling into coffee, we went big.
Built through our house blend approach, BACK 2 SCHOOL brings together six distinctive coffees from Colombia and Ethiopia, each chosen to play a different role in the cup.
Diego Bermudez’s Lychee Peach lays down the tropical foundation. Coffees from Néstor Lasso, Paola Trujillo, and Sebastián Ramírez push the fruit even further, adding layers of juicy sweetness and vibrant character. Huver Castillo’s Aponte Florale brings florals and citrus into the mix, while a washed Ethiopian lot from Aricha adds the clarity and freshness needed to keep everything lifted and clean.
Six coffees. Two countries. Different producers, processes, varieties, and personalities.
On paper, there’s a lot going on. That’s exactly the point.
The cup moves through Lychee, Fruit Punch, and Peach Nectar, with flashes of watermelon, complex citrus, and delicate florals appearing as it develops and cools. One sip feels tropical and juicy; the next feels floral, bright, and surprisingly clean.
We didn’t blend these coffees to make them taste the same. We brought them together because each one contributes something the others couldn’t.
A serious specialty coffee built around a not-so-serious memory.
